How unconscious patterns determine our thinking
Do we really make decisions as objectively as we think we do? Whether in everyday team work, when selecting personnel or in quick consultations, our brains use shortcuts to cope with the flood of information. These unconscious thought patterns, known as unconscious biases, are human, but can lead to systematic misjudgements in a professional context.
In this 90-minute online session, we take a look behind the scenes of our perception. We provide you with scientifically based insights and initial tools to critically question your own filters and act more consciously in your everyday work.

Diversity is a key component of modern collaboration. But what do equity and inclusion actually mean in everyday working life, and how do these concepts interact? In order to create a sustainable inclusive corporate culture, it is essential to have a common understanding of the fundamentals and various dimensions of diversity.
In this 60-minute online session, we provide a comprehensive overview of the core topics of DEI. We highlight why diversity goes far beyond visible characteristics and where exclusion can arise. The aim of the session is to raise awareness of inclusion and encourage participants to actively shape the benefits of a diverse working environment.

Authenticity in the workplace is the basis for trust and performance. Nevertheless, many LGBTIQ+ people still experience uncertainty or discrimination in a professional context. In order to create an environment in which everyone feels safe and valued, a sound understanding of the realities of queer people's lives and the legal and social framework conditions is necessary.
In this 60-minute online session, we provide guidance on gender and sexual diversity. We clarify the most important terms and show how to interact respectfully in everyday working life. The aim of the session is to reduce existing uncertainties and to identify initial courses of action for open collaboration.

As part of the STICKS & STONES Career Fair Berlin, we will meet the evening before for an interactive WSP Connect Live networking session for LGBTIQ+ employee resource groups (ERGs). In this approximately two-hour format, we want to bring together members from employee networks from a wide range of industries, companies and regions to exchange ideas, network and work together to develop solutions to current challenges.

Inclusion isn’t achieved through policies alone, but through people who actively stand up for one another. But how does one go from being a well-meaning person to a true ally for the LGBTIQ+ community? In this 90-minute online session, we bridge the gap between theoretical understanding and practical application. We focus on how allyship can be embedded as a learnable behavioural skill in everyday working life to create a supportive environment for everyone.
The aim of the session is to reduce uncertainty and provide you with concrete options for action. We demonstrate that effective allyship takes many forms and occurs both in direct situations and through subtle, consistent gestures in the background.
