Since 2009, we as UHLALA Group have been supporting employers in implementing their LGBTIQ+ diversity management through individual and personal consulting.
With UHLALA Consulting we contribute to equal opportunities for LGBTIQ+ people in working and professional life. We advise companies and organizations in planning and implementing their LGBTIQ+ diversity management. Especially in times of demographic change and the resulting shortage of skilled workers, an open and appreciative corporate culture is of great importance in order to be an attractive employer for current and potential future employees.
Our consulting approach is to develop measures individually and precisely for the client and to identify constructive solutions for specific challenges. Thanks to our many years of specialization in the field of LGBTIQ+ diversity and our cooperation with a wide range of companies, we have extensive expertise on how to ensure the inclusion of queer people in the workplace in the long term.
We also offer open trainings and workshops that anyone interested can attend and learn about a variety of diversity topics. Join us at our upcoming events to get an insight into our formats. All open trainings can also be booked as in-house events.
This workshop will be held in german language.
In this three-part workshop, participants will learn how they can contribute to an inclusive, discrimination-free environment as an Ally.
Part I : April 20 | 9am-12pm (3h)
Part II : April 27 | 10-12 am (2h)
Part III : July 20 | 9-10 am (1h).
An Ally is a person who does not self-identify as LGBTIQ+, but is committed to valuing queer people and promoting an open culture. The Allyship Program of We Stay PRIDE (project of UHLALA Group) addresses people who want to deal more intensively with the topic of LGBTIQ+ diversity and inclusion in the workplace and imparts relevant knowledge and skills on this in a three-part workshop. In the 3-hour kick-off workshop, participants receive basic knowledge about diversity within the LGBTIQ+ community, learn how they as Ally can contribute to a more inclusive environment and what intersectionality means. The goal is also to reflect on their own privileges.
One week later, practical situations that Allies may face in their everyday work will be worked on in small groups and discussed together. Here, participants learn how to become confident in their arguments and how to appear or act as an Ally.
In the third and last part, the group meets after 3 months to talk about their experiences as Ally. They discuss how the knowledge from the first workshops could be applied and which challenges arose.
This workshop will be held in german language.

We are happy to support employers in setting up their own LGBTIQ+ diversity strategy or in further developing an existing one. Within the framework of the strategy, goals are defined and measures are derived, for whose implementation we provide support and advice. The measures are adapted to the current status of LGBTIQ+ diversity management and to the goals of the overall diversity management.
We are happy to support our clients in creating or reviewing internal documents. Do you need a trans guide and are looking for expert support? You already have a guide on inclusive language and want feedback? Our goal is always to create non-discriminatory documents that are individually adapted in tone and language to the corporate culture of our clients. Our service repertoire also includes the design of a “Diversity ABC for employees”, an anti-discrimination policy or the review of the Code of Conduct.
We offer a comprehensive portfolio of training and education formats. Both interactive workshops in small groups and larger formats with up to 300 people are possible. The training content is adapted to the expectations of the customers. We also differentiate whether the training is aimed at executives, HR or all employees. Thematically, we cover the entire spectrum of LGBTIQ+ diversity: from general awareness & allyship trainings to specialized topics such as “gender diversity”, “gender-inclusive language” or “unconscious bias”. The trainings can be conducted in English and German.
We offer workshops to find the company-specific LGBTIQ+ diversity challenges and derive possibilities for action. We prepare and facilitate the workshops and summarize them afterwards in a modern brochure. Participants are the LGBTIQ+ employees as well as straight allies of the company, who usually know best about the current challenges. The interactive workshops can be customized, with joint brainstorm sessions and group exercises to achieve the best possible results together.
Networks in companies play a major role when it comes to empowerment and inclusion of marginalized groups. In moderated workshops, we support our clients in setting up such a network, defining goals, assigning tasks, and working out how to proceed.
The network work can also be accompanied by us on an ongoing basis through regular coaching sessions. Progress can be reflected, challenges addressed and new impulses set. The reorientation or reactivation of an already existing network can also be the subject of these workshops.
Are you planning an internal event related to (LGBTIQ+) diversity? We are happy to advise you on the general concept and design, act as speakers or panelists at the event, or moderate it.
As part of our consulting services, we also offer certification of the LGBTIQ+ diversity management of companies, organizations and universities. With the help of an online audit, the current state of LGBTIQ+ engagement is captures and if a certain percentage is reached, we certify the employer, organization or university with the PRIDE Champion seal as LGBTIQ+ friendly. The seal demonstrates to potential and current employees, students, customers, suppliers, investors and business partners an open and appreciative culture for LGBTIQ+ people. Based on the results you achieve in the audit, we will be happy to advise you individually on sustainable improvement of internal structures, if required.
If you are interested in consulting services or diversity workshops, please feel free to send us an inquiry. We will be happy to forward you our consolidated portfolio of services and training courses or provide you directly with an individual offer for your inquiry.
